Sixth on the list is Lee Haney's Joint Mobility Enhancer. This formula is a fusion of American naturopathic (natural) medicine, along with ayurvedic (Indian) medicine. Glucosamine Sulphate is an amino sugar molecule used to build connective tissue. The building blocks of tendons, bones, ligaments, and synovial fluid are glucosamine sulphate. It is part of a complex group of proteins called protoglycans, used to build articular cartilage. Boswellia, turmeric, bromelain and devil's claw herbs are used as natural anti-inflammatory agents. Yucca root is used because of its content of natural plant based cortisone, assisting in joint mobility. A complex blend of essential fatty acids are used to synthesize synovial fluid for joints, as well as for the production of hormones, and prostaglandins, complex biochemicals that have a pronounced effect on joints and their movement. MSM (organic sulfur) is used for its ability to help heal joints. The minerals potassium, magnesium, calcium, and the Vitamins B-6, C, and D are used as co-factors for good joint health. Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant that protects the EFA blend in this formula, as well as joint fluids. DLPA, or DL, Phenylalanine, and white willow bark allows the body to make more painkilling endorphins. WARNING! This product contains phenylalanine, and should not be taken by phenylketonurics, pregnant or lactating women. This formula contains L-Histidine because research has shown that low levels of it are linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
